I used to have a way of reading a majors only tarot deck that gave the minors a representation in the majors but,it has been so long since I've done it that I think I tossed the list out.Can anybody help me cuz google isn't understanding me no matter how I phrase it?Much appreciated..

Your title speaks of a Minors only deck, but your post speaks of a Majors only deck. I do think it makes a difference whether you’re trying to find the majors in the minors or vice versa. So which is it? 😄 I think numerology is the most common method but I do personally believe that it’s best to either use a full deck or an all majors deck. Technically you could find the aces in the Magician, and the twos in the High Priestess but it’s not going to be particularly useful because you’ll lose sight of the meaning of the major and you can’t differentiate between the different suits of the minors…

I don’t think I have seen anyone use a minors only deck. Then you might just as well use playing cards, IMO.

I agree with Raggy. I really don't see how that could work well.
I do have some Majors only decks that I use, but I don't impose the meanings from the other 56 cards. 78 cards aren't necessary for a deck to work. (And I am NOT suggesting removing cards you find difficult or unpleasant, you need a balance.) It's the same for reading playing cards, 52 cards work well. And the Tarot is a deck of playing cards, it just has different suit symbols, and Knights and Majors in addition to the others. Sometimes I split the deck and do separate spreads with Majors and Minors. I read someplace that Continental readers often do that. We do have a number of Continental readers here and I've never seen them do it, lol, but it does work. And if you look at other systems, you often  find even less. I love using Lenormand - that's only 36 cards. There are only 24 runes. Etc. So I don't see a need to shoehorn the meanings of 56 more cards into 22.

In some ways the Majors do contain the Minors. There's a pip reading method where you consider the number in light of the suit, it's quite popular with Marseilles type decks. Some people use the Majors to do this: 1 would be Le Bateleur and La Force, 2 La Papesse and Le Pendu, etc. But you're not imposing all those meanings on the Pips. You're reducing them and filtering them through the idea of the Suit. I've played around with it and don't find it particularly effective, but YMMV.
