Has tarot ever accurately predicted when you'll meet a partner?

When I was starting out in tarot and reading for myself, I often asked about future love and soul mate type readings. My first point here is to urge caution about these type of readings, when you are single and hoping you will meet someone, it makes you feel good to get positive cards for it. But what I found is it often didn't happen. The tarot helped me though, it told me the things I need to change in myself but future reading on this is very unpredictable and almost like a fantasy. Our matters of the heart are so complicated! You are most probably not going to meet a Knight in Shining Armour like a fairy tale. Also people use yes/ no questions for this a lot like will I meet my future husband this month? This is really the worst way of wording a reading with any kind of good outcome. For love matters go with a spread or more complex type reading. like, what can I do to give me the best chances of meeting someone for romance in the next 6 months/  month/ week?

 

I realised that finding a romantic partner is a lot of work and very rarely a Sliding Doors type accidental meeting. You gotta be in the right place and the right emotional place and you have to socialise. You have to meet a lot of new people, online or off and that gives you the best chance. Often (this was totally me in the past!) people read about the future but don't meet anyone or take any kind of action. To find romance, you have to take real life action 🙂

 

Some friends have predicted their romantic partners but I have to say this is rare and also I think they didn't get the timings right. Often you will see love coming your way in specific and future readings which are less than 6 months away because I think they are the most accurate. It's not easy reading on it because it's hard to be impartial reading on it and also things change so much in the future. A reading might have said you will meet someone in May 2020 and then the pandemic hit in March and all plans changed 🤣. It possible to predict this but it's hard to be exact.

Yes, yes.  If,  as DanielJUK says, you are not in the right emotional place, or the right mental, situational place, you may meet a partner but not recognize them.  It is my thoughts that there are multiple people who would be good partners for each of us, it is just “THE ONE” is the one that comes when all is right with both people. It is a lot less pressure than to think we can only be happy with that mythical “ONE”. 
 

This also would explain the seeming “wrong” reading of the cards.

I agree! It's my personal opinion the cards can't really answer Yes/No questions in general, and timing questions are also not best for tarot.

 

Do you think it's foolish to ask questions like, "What will my future husband be like?" from the cards, just in terms of personality and character? Or is that still too unreliable?

You can use tarot however you like for your own readings. We can only give our experiences and opinions on using them 🙂

 

Of course, why not try and ask it, record what it says and see if it ever comes true. It's good to experiment with tarot but not take it too seriously, don't pin all your hopes on what you get as an answer.

Also people read on their special "one" for the future but what happens if the outcome is you have 6 husbands over your life, like a modern day Henry 8th 🤣. The reading might only tell you about the one.

I would try to avoid the fairy tale looking into the future, it puts pressure on you as well. That's the risk with these readings. Just look at what is coming up next 🙂

I find tarot more useful and meaningful for introspective questions, for example, what I mentioned in this thread. 

 

I'm curious on your opinion on YouTube Pick-A-Cards, for any subject. Most of them are about love, of course, and while they're general readings, I find it pretty spooky that I get the same message on "Your Future Spouse" over and over again. Pretty spoopy...😂

Always when i do a general reading on me  before i meet someone new or before i find out someone is crushing on me without me realising i repeatedly get spamed with the court card of the element of their sign which represens them😅😂 even for like months before i meet them and it's so confusing cause I'm like who's that even?! Especially if you don't know them and i almost always use astrology in court cards when i read so i usually know who is who it makes so much sense after cause I'm always like so that was that king of wands king of swords my deck was keep spaming me about it's kinda funny though but so confusing so no i mostly just get the who I'll meet 😅 but i get some timings in general/love from time to time like some when it snowed during winter spring summer summer solstice etc i have some cards pointing these timings i got while learning on the process of my readings and which actually add up on timings it's something that works better on me than the actual card timings on general readings so far
