Word limits?

When I wanted to answer to a topic, I couldn't submit my answer because it said "word limits" where in place and it had to be  10 words minimum and 100 words maximum. But I have seen other answers in that thread that were longer than 100 words. Is there some setting that I haven't found and that I have to change to post longer answers?

Welcome to the forum Eno 🙂

When someone first joins, there are some limits on what they can post and what areas of the forum they can access. The word limit is to stop people spamming us with long text.

 

When you get to 5 posts, you will be able to post as much as you want. That is why some people were able to do longer answers. So introduce yourself in the introductions area and you will soon make 5 posts

 

edited to add: you have started an introduction thread, well soon you will be at 5 posts and have full account access 🙂
