In my part of the Northern Hemisphere, we are celebrating the season of Spring after the dark of winter.  So, I'm in the mood to be inspired - share your favourite Spring Themed decks!

The Ostara Tarot (of course!)

It's a collaborate deck by 4 professional female artists from Vancouver, Canada. Each artist does one suit and they share the Majors between them. It's based on RWS.

The art styles are all gentle and themed on Spring and Female intuition but they really vary from naturalistic to surreal. I quite like that but some reviews found it jarring.

Personally I think it's a great deck and it's theme is about Ostara / Spring but also it's about Spring in our lives in a general way, what is waking up? what is growing and blossoming?

Two flowery tarots for spring:  Harmonious Tarot with Walter Crane’s flower fairies, and Ukiyoe Tarot with lots of Japanese flower symbolism, including cherry blossoms.

And oracles, too!  Flower Reading Cards and Flowers of the Night Oracle both by Cheralyn Darcey.

Thank you for sharing @DanielJUK and @Rachelcat!

I have seen the Ostara Tarot mentioned a lot!  Its never particularly appealed to me in style, but that's probably my own preferences!

The artwork on the Flowers of the Night oracle is unusual.  It reminds me a little of the scratch art kits I've done - they have a matt black surface and you scrape the design that was printed on that away to reveal a shiny surface - usually silver or gold, but I did have a rainbow one once too!

I saw the Ostara for sale at Whole Foods the other day. It was my first time there and I was shocked! I almost got it.

The Playful Heart tarot is bright and springy!

This one just arrived in time for some spring readings for me, The Garden of Lucid Daydreams Oracle, by Patrick Valenza. A beautiful, twisted, and surprisingly colourful welcome to spring (although he actually covers all of the seasons in it).

Ugh I keep not ordering this one but every new card I see makes me want it more. Damn you Valenza, I don't need to own 5 decks by the same person!!!

ty for sharing the images, though, I think I'm convinced to get it. 🙂

I wish it were a Tarot. I won't start collecting oracles, one addiction is more than enough for my bank account...

Apologies for the unintentional enabling, but if you want some enabling, you've certainly come to the right place 😆.

That's a very reasonable approach! I was casting my net very wide with Tarot decks of all kinds, but more and more it seems my net has become narrower - and almost entirely gobbling up anything Patrick Valenza creates.
