I've been keeping an eye on Taroteca Studio, the makers of Dark Mansion, ever since I received a sample card for an upcoming deck of theirs when I ordered my copy of Dark Mansion.

The Slavic Legends deck should be out in Fall or so, and I love the samples so far. Such great art, and a subject I really enjoy (I have a few similar decks, like Velga North's Forgotten Legends).

It looks amazing! I was actually looking for something like this, because I have Slavic ancestry and I wanted to connect more with that, but I couldn’t find anything!

Precisely! I've been on the look out for Slavic-themed decks, partly to balance the prevalence of Western European decks I have.

Well, I have a week to decide. I just sold my last HUGE MCLARGE boxed deck the other day, and was quite glad to send it on. I'm not sure I want something to replace it. 😐

Not happened yet....

A recent IG post said 20:00 CET. I'm going to keep a weather eye on their social media, because I'm not sure if their location does DLS or not (and I know Germany was on CEST for So Lazo's deck) and if so that time is off by an hour. So check at 19:00, then at 20:00, just to be safe.

Not seeing anything yet, which I think confirms it is 20:00 CEST. So, see you all in an hour!

UGH. Do I want 2 extra cards and an impossible to use box, or do I want the pretty silver card back and black edges? Decisions. 😛

 

Edit: Got the LE. I'll think about a copy of the silver-backed one for more regular use; it might not be a bad investment, long term.

I picked up the black edge. The hype for this is real.  I was not fond of the the other deck I bought from this company; I hope this Slavic is more pleasing once in hand. 

I also hope the black includes the moon card I prefer ( the feminine one).

Just ordered mine. I really love this one. And since it comes from Poland  and I am in Germany shipping is cheap and no customs fees or things like that. So I could afford the wooden box edition with the extra cards 🙂

That is indeed the Moon card you should receive. The masculine Moon (which someone indicated is more properly Slavic, though I can't speak to that myself) and the more 'hermit'-like Devil are both only found in the LE, wooden box version.
