moonlight722 Posted December 22, 2017 Posted December 22, 2017 Hi, Im new here on the board. I'm having a hard time interpreting my reading. I pulled the knight of wands followed by the 6 of swords, judgement, 10 of swords, and ended with the empress..with the chariot at the bottom of the deck. Can anyone help me with this message? Im getting something about traveling...but what's throwing me off is the 10 of swords and empress.

When I got knight of wands for overall energy I interpreted that as movement, action especially placed beside 6 of swords which i interpret as moving on, travel, I view judgement as like results, final decision, final outcome, I view 10 of swords as like defeat, the end of a cycle, mental defeat, and the empress as new beginnings, or a new creation...i almost got the feeling somehow this was about a past relationship. but the 10 of swords and empress is really throwing me off. hopefully I explained this right! I'm so new to this.

Please do remember that the interpretations we give here are how we would personally read the cards when we asked the same question as you and they turned up on the same spread. Your cards tries to answer your question tho - they tried to conform to your personal meanings for each card so just take the bits of our interp that would resonate with you. The King of Wands does indicate that this Christmas weekend would be a very active one for you. The Six of Swords does not necessarily mean travel - it may mean that you have a lot of stuff that you have to finish and accomplish so that you're going to be quite busy. Judgement + 10 of Swords mean that something big is going to come to a head, like you have some unfinished business or some built-in tension/frustration that you're going to deal with this weekend. Be careful as to how you approach this - there are good ways to deal with the 10 of Swords but one wrong move and it might explode on your face. The Empress can be an actual person that'd be involved in this conflict, a female person whom you're close to or who wields some authority over you. For me tho, the Empress card presages a good resolution to one's troubles, so with all the inauspicious cards swirling in this spread she might be a breath of fresh air. The Chariot also suggests travel, but since it is the Card of War while also being the Card of the Family (due to its Cancerian attribution), if you're going back home for Christmas you should be ready once some family conflict erupts.
