i just discovered a colorful/quirky oracle deck on Etsy. i hadn't seen it before today. It is called the Mystic Afternoon Oracle deck. It has 70 cards, so quite a chunky oracle.

It is also reasonably priced at only $20. It is self published and hand painted.

i am a little unhappy right now, as i purchased this deck on Etsy the 22nd of December, and it still hasn't been shipped. i haven't heard from the seller at all since i purchased. i have tried contacting her, but i have not received a response.  i am hoping it is just due to the Holidays...

but usually sellers on Etsy are so responsive and quick...i guess i am spoiled by their super service.

That is unfortunate :( And I see her shop policy is to ship in 1-3 business days. The holidays might cause a delay, although even that isn't really a good excuse, since she should be putting her shop on vacation if she's not available to respond to customers and ship products. If she doesn't communicate in the next few days with an explanation, you might be forced to take it up with Etsy.

You are so right about everything you said. She only joined Etsy in 2017, so maybe she isn't aware of some of the procedures...

 

i am going to wait until Jan. 3rd, and then i will try contacting her again first. i am really hoping i don't have to alert Etsy. 

 

Another thing occurred to me--there has been a horrible flu making its rounds. i hope she isn't down with it, but that might be another possibility. Both hubby and i had it and it was nasty. i was down for close to 2 weeks with it.  BTW, Happy New Year, sweetie! xoxoxoxox

Still haven't heard a peep from the creator/seller..

 

Etsy says: "Your order was scheduled to ship by 27 Dec, 2017. Please contact the shop for an update."

i am very pleased to say that i have finally heard from Hannah. Evidently, she has been away from Computersand such for the last few weeks due to some kind of a big move.

My deck has been dispatched and i have an active tracking number...

Very happy and relieved this could work out.

i finally received the deck and it is really adorable! 70 card oracle deck! Beautiful cardstock and sturdy tuck box. Only $20 is such a great price for an Indy deck!
