Thinking about what I should be spending my time - reading, listening, doing.  I was wondering if the seven of visions is almost a 'I don't care but do SOMETHING'. Get your head out of the clouds ... but I'd expect a fire card to be prompting action.

Okay, I'm kinda late to the party this week but here is my weekly reading with the Sasha Fenton. Also, not a Marseilles style deck but just a pip one.

 

 

1. What to prioritize this week: Knight of Wands

 

I need to focus on moving forward with some my new creative ventures. I have quite a lot going on right now.

 

2. How can I better organize my time? The Emperor

 

Oh boy have I been feeling this card. My original answer Sunday when I drew the spread was: By the numbers. I just saw all the coins falling out over the one book and the other book, shoved back under his arm is math. How many of us can relate to this? I need to not fritter my time and resources on fairy tales (video games 😳). Don't know why I decided the other book was fairy tales. I did move my computer away from where I work but you guys live in the computer! Not having my notes nearby to type things up gave me an excuse to procrastinate. I rearranged my office area again and put the computer nearby but not on the desk. I can grab the keyboard and type easy enough but it's out of my line of sight when I'm working. This is only a problem when I am at home. Food for thought.

 

3. A way to be productive without feeling overwhelmed: Eight of Pentacles.

 

I need to focus on one thing at a time. The 'fruit;" is there but, starting from the bottom, each branch is alone and the alternate sides. One could use them as handholds to climb up. Start slow, build your routine and climb up one step at a time.

 

4. How can I incorporate what I love? Strength

 

Embrace it. She is throwing her arms around her puddytat. Enjoy all the things.

 

5. Something new I can try to increase self care. Three of Pentacles

 

Reward myself for jobs well done.

 

These pips can be quite expressive. I really like this deck. Back to the Emperor card, I have been sucked into so many things this week, new art projects, new games, new friendships, new TV show. Oh man, the TV. I spent the last two nights binging Pistol, about the Sex Pistols.  (I find the timing hilarious considering the Jubilee). I was kid when all this went down but John Lydon was my hero. Me and my partner have to keep pausing to remember stories that coincide or have to do with the things being shown. It's been so much fun.

Thank you so much firecat pickles (I love that name, BTW) and vulprix for doing the threads last week and this week.   I will always try and ask for volunteers If I know I'm going to be MIA.  

I was not having fun!   My computer had a major issue, and my repair person - aka my other half, Ken - was too busy with work and the fence builders and some other exciting things to fix it, but now it's little power supply is all new and shiny.   

 

I will get the new thread posted tomorrow, thunderstorms are lurking around, and I'm shutting down just in CASE...⚡

A quick one-card draw in the middle of my Friday: What do I need to feel more positive. (It's been One Of Those Days).

I - the Enchanter. An absolutely lovely card (did I mention how much I love this deck?) Hmm I need to get better at framing questions, though. You'd think after nigh on 20 years of Tarot, on and off, I'd have it down by now. 

 

You may 'ask the Enchanter for magical help if you get in trouble, says the book... though he's been known to stir things up for those who try to take the easy route'.  ... 'Still, you can always learn from him, especially when it comes to using your own powers to their fullest'.  Right. So, even in the enchanted forest, I've still got to be a self-rescuing princess. Check. 

 

Looking at the card, though, I feel this is about needing some time to conjure my own creative worlds.

Hard call on the reading, but I see both the act of suspension and the, "ooh piece of candy" suggestion of the two cards.  Perhaps study yourself and see what calls you later, depending on finances?

I think that's a good strategy. There is plenty for me to work with for now.
