Sartori Posted June 27, 2022 Posted June 27, 2022 Hi! I was interested in Tarot in the late 90s, but in the 2000s I was distracted by other projects. Now my interest has arisen again. This happened, I think, after I published novel "Last Call" by Tim Powers in my country. I have acquired a number of decks and books that have appeared recently. I found interesting and smart blogs, including your forum. I hope I'm not interrupting anyone.
DanielJUK Posted June 28, 2022 Posted June 28, 2022 Welcome to the community @Sartori glad you are getting back into tarot. I have found it comes and goes in my life when I need it. Hope we help you on your tarot journey 😀
Sartori Posted June 28, 2022 Author Posted June 28, 2022 Thank you for your kind words 🙂 Previously, there were few independent deck publishers. Artists were restricted. Now, I see, the technology allows authors to print any decks. Tarot, thanks to Instagram and YouTube, is becoming mainstream.
DanielJUK Posted June 28, 2022 Posted June 28, 2022 Yes, it's a really exciting time. Anyone can make art and get it published themselves, even just one deck for themselves! There is a thread of the best printers per regions if you ever want that technical info, just let me know 🙂 The other exciting thing is that artists and creators crowdfund their decks to get them out there! So it's so diverse out there these days 😊
