Can I have a cookie?

Hello!

I'm just getting back into tarot after being away from it for a while. I think I was overwhelmed by all the information out there. 78 card meanings to learn, 156 if you include reversals. Then there's different meanings for each card in each guidebook. Which meanings are the right ones?

Still, as confusing as it can be the tarot keeps drawing me back. So here I am, the fool at the beginning of his journey, ready to learn the tarot and do some practice readings.

Welcome! Choose one system (i.e. a book) to study, and stick to it to begin with, then add as you go along to make it your own— like a cookie recipe!

Wow, so many cookies!

Thanks, everyone!

@Raggydoll Yeah it really is. I'll meet new people, learn as I go and enjoy my adventure.

@Stephanelli Are all those for me? Let's share some with everyone.

@rachelcat What's a snickerdoodle? Thankyou. You'll have to give me the recipe sometime.

@joy Those look amazing, like they'll just melt in your mouth.

@DanielJUK Okay, I'll do daily draws for now. Learn one card at a time.

@fire cat pickles I'll learn one keyword for each card as a starting point then build from there.

@Drake_Winterfell, a snickerdoodle is a cinnamon cookie.  My son (the chocolate hater) loves them!  Here's the recipe I use!  Enjoy!

@Rachelcat Hmm, that looks delicious. How can your soon hate chocolate? I like it too much. Thanks for the recipe.
