From the folks who did the Rust Belt Arcana - a truly amazing American Midwest deck - is a new deck:

I'm not sure how well these decks will read for non-Americans, but I've found the Rust Belt Arcana, along with Slow Holler, to have wonderful synergy. They're definitely off the beaten path for a tarot deck, yet for someone from the US and especially these regions they're highly evocative. David Wilson is truly amazing.

I do love the Great Lakes. I remember thinking how exciting and special they were as a kid when I had to draw maps of them for geography (in the UK), and when I actually lived near them and used to go to the beach on Huron and Superior - I was just overcome. But I'm not sure this deck will do it for me.... The Rust Belt looks more - evocative of its area...

Oh! Interesting!

But is it mainly catered to the US or also relevant for us Canadians?

I will have to investigate this more.

@gregory, do you have the Rust Belt deck and book from the same artist and what do you think?

No I don't - but I like the look of the art.

The Great Lakes can't "cater to the US." They just are. The deck apparently features flora and fauna,  water, industry, and people of the region. Not all that much difference between the two countries, I think, unless the only people are demonstrably American, which I doubt.. The Rust Belt is US centric - as it would be, as they have the entirety of the belt within their borders !

I think it was less about the lakes catering to the US as the theme of the deck. Eg. Lake Michigan is entirely within the States, but the Edmund Fitzgerald would be something relevant to both Canadians and Americans. I'd hope it would be both but we'll have to see when more images are available.
