What do you do when your spreads don't make sense?

What do you do when the spreads you throw don't make sense in regards to the questions asked and/or the context of the situations?

And what I mean by that last bit is this: say you lay down The House - The Ring - The Letter for a daily draw re: "What is going to happen to me, today?" You already have a residential lease you signed, maybe months or more ago. You're not really expecting to have to move soon. There's been no-to-little reason for you to expect documents/communications related to housing to come (whether it be about repairs, something in the lease agreement, violations, etc.). Come to think of it, you're not really in another situation that would reasonably warrant a communication regarding a contract or commitment of any kind...and above all, certainly not on a Sunday during a holiday weekend.

Do you chalk it up to not being able to see enough possibilities in the cards, to not being able to make creative connections between the cards and the context? Does the Lenormand, like Tarot, sometimes throw something else at you because 1. you need to know about this OTHER thing instead, 2. you're snooping, stop snooping, 3. you're asking too many times, 4. etc./whathaveyou?

What is going on in these scenarios, in your experience?

Thanks kindly!

In my opinion especially daily draws without a question can mean a million things. I ask specific questions even on a daily basis. Like how is the meeting going? What can I expect from the trip to work? Etc. The cards can be soooo literal. Like there will be a letter next to a ring in your house.

When I was learning Lenormand as a beginner, I decided to deal 3 cards every Monday for the week ahead. The reading was always a specific event that would happen that week, not a "theme" or overview which was really interesting. I think tarot wouldn't always be so specific, it might be a theme or energy of that week. But Lenormand goes direct to a specific! It does work best with direct questions I think

I think also if it doesn't make sense, you might have to look at your combination ideas or change your views of the cards. Sometimes they can be a little outside the box or surprising 🙂
