Hi everyone,

I've been into tarot for about 8 years and always felt a bit of disappointment at the thought that I finally made an account on Aeclectic Tarot mere weeks before they shut down. I'm a secular tarot reader (and I find it interesting that I discovered that term about 15 minutes before discovering this site). My baseline beliefs about the nature or reality permit for all the supernatural stuff (I'm a pantheist) but that's not what I do with Tarot.

Anyway I look forward to geeking out with y'all!

Welcome to the community @Rock_Joe 🙂:animated-smileys-signs-085: hehe you can say you had an account on Aelectic but never really had time to use it or post a lot! 😆. There are plenty of former members from there and a whole lot of new people have found us to make a nice new place.

I love we all have a different ideas about where the info comes from in our tarot readings and we all have different beliefs 🙂

glad you have found us here

Hello @Rock_Joe welcome to the TT&M Family :animated-smileys-signs-085:. Love your profile pic. Crowley‘s Deck was my first one - its a looong time ago - but do not have it anymore. But will never forget the artwork!

Yeah Temperance is probably my favorite card and I opted to go with the Crowley version. ☺

I admit I had to go look up secular.

Seems to me that it's the hierophat reversed, tower kind of approach to reading tarot..

In others taking in everything, adhering to nothing..

Yet through all that you will build your path.

For your spiritual approach..

YES use it!

See early in my tarot,I avoided Inuition, medium messages, trying to adhere to the book.

Overtime I accepted my psychic, and mediumship messages if I got them .

I get myself into a raise vibration/channeled mode before reading everytime.

So my advice is embrace it, don't deny it.

Example If you were a follower of Zeus get your self some Greek, Roman tarot.

Funny thing about that advice is I'm an Ojibwa, but don't use the native American tarot or the other 2 native tarot decks  they just don't click.

So welcome , 🙏
