stephanelli Posted November 4, 2022 Posted November 4, 2022 I've been enjoying using the Wild Unknown Tarot this week but it's given quite a negative slant on things that haven't really been that bad. Here are my daily draws for this week (Mon - Fri) Mon - 8 of Swords This indicated that I'd be trapped and powerless. While there were things that I had to do that day, no other option, this card made it seem much more dramatic and negative than it felt like. Tue - 5 of Cups This indicated grief and disappointment. I did experience disappointment in one of my projects, but nothing that couldn't be fixed. Wed - 8 of Cups This indicated stagnation and ill health and telling me that I needed to move on with something. I couldn't actually work out what this related to other than moving on from the disappointment of the project on Tuesday and working out how to make it better in the second attempt! Thu - 5 of Wands This card indicated that I'd have a lack of focus and would feel scattered and actually this card was 100% accurate 😆 I just couldn't focus and didn't know where to direct my energies! Fri - 9 of Wands This is today's card so I'm predicting here. This card indicates strength, stamina and confidence. The guidebook suggests I'm going weary of something and need to look forward to the last few steps so I can get something completed. This could relate to the weaving project that is nearly complete, but I wouldn't say I'm growing weary of it, just that is nearly ffinished I remember why I like this deck though. The artwork is beautiful and I like not having people in a deck sometimes! I'm sure this will come up in my DotW again in the future, but I'm going to move on from it next week!

I've never been able to connect with this deck. I know many people swear by it. I have friends who like it. I bought the deck-in-a-tin version on super sale to see if I could bond with it ... but nope. I get flashbacks to the movie "Blair Witch Project" every time I try this deck *sigh*.

I have to say, while I can read with it, I don't get on with it as well I do my other decks. I got it because I got on really well with the Wild Unknown Animal Spirit deck so I figured I'd enjoy the tarot deck too. I definitely have to be in the right mood for the tarot deck. I've not seen Blair Witch Project...
Rachelcat Posted November 5, 2022 Posted November 5, 2022 Thanks for leading us on to the next week (this week!). Ugh, work is still getting in the way of tarot! I’m still going to do decks of the week, but I’m not going to even pretend to do a reading every day. I’ll just do what days I can. Starting on Saturday is good, I can at least get my deck interviews in. In the meantime, here’s my last reading with Trick or Treat Tarot, then on to another deck for today.
