Hello all! Hopefully I'm posting this correctly, I haven't participated on a forum of this format since my teen years ๐Ÿ˜… My intent is to post this on the introductions thread since I'm a new member as of today. Super excited to be here. I'm looking forward to sharing & exchanging both resources & readings with anyone who feels so inclined.ย

ย

I've been reading tarot for about 13 years now but have only gotten really serious about it over these last few years. Divination of all sorts is my passion- dowsing, Numerology & and astrological influence are some of my current special interests.

ย

Currently I'm looking for a community of people who share similar interests with whom I can continue growing with along my path & I'm optimistic that this may be the best place I've found so far to find that ๐Ÿ˜Šย

Hey Joy, it'sย  nice to meet you and thanks for the warm welcome & rundown. I was admittedly curious on whether I needed to post 5 original/ personal posts or if comments would count towards that; so I appreciate that information very much, thank you!

Hey Aliki, it's nice to meet you! I've really gotten into and started studying numerology over the last year. My primary purpose of learning was to be able to have a base understanding of the vibrations and messages associated with synchronicities to better connect with my guides and readings. I have recently started learning how to chart and what the paths mean but I feel that use as well as Astrology is a whole other beast than anything I've studied prior or even expected ๐Ÿ™ƒ๐Ÿ˜…

Nice to meet you too ๐Ÿ˜Š yes the thing with astrology is that every sign house aspect has multiple meanings and both positive and negative also the combinations of above and degrees matter as well especially on predictions besides the houses they fall it's also the inner aspects both natal and transits who count as well that's why astrologers say to also look besides the rising your sun and moon as well but still the most personal you can get on general predictions is the rising it's like never ending information it took me many years to get the knowledge i have today and I'm still learning ๐Ÿ˜… but learning the meanings of the planets signs and houses both positive and negative as well as the basic aspects conjuctions trines etc is a major key on general understanding and basics of it in general it just gets less confusing afterย

Yes, I've found those concepts to be overwhelming at times but it's something I'll definitely be studying for a long time. It's very unfortunate that I don't know my birth time because i feel like doing my ownย  chart with astrology would be best. I do think though that that missing bit of info has ultimately been very helpful towards my learning as it required a different level of study than I was previously doing ๐Ÿ˜…ย

It does take a long time but to my opinion the journey is really fun โ˜บ๏ธ i know I've done the same for some friends it can be more tricky to predict if you don't know usually trusted calculators which you know are mostly accurate without the birthtime or other methods like the 12noon one usually work

You can do the chart for Sunrise of the day (or noon, or sunset, or midnight if you know, for example, you were born in day or night but not exact time).

You then rotate the chart to Moon and use that as the lagna (rising). This is vedic astrology.

ย

If you have no idea whatsoever of the birth time ...

You can do a Sunrise chart and rotate the chart to the Atma Karaka (soul planet) or to the Sun.

ย

None of these are as accurate as knowing proper birth time ... but they still resonate on some levels.

I agree, I do love the journey. Playing with the timing and seeing how drastically it changed my chart was probably the most overwhelming part honestly ๐Ÿ˜… My mom was able to give me a general time of day- she believes I was born late afternoon or in the evening so that helped a bit but still very uncertain on it. This lead me down the birth time rectification methods hole which was probably not the best idea since I had very little knowledge of what any of what was being said meant. Grateful for that side of it now as it has been a good learning experience and it gave me a whole new level of appreciation for the years of study astrological undergo to be proficient in their craft.ย

I have been told I was born in the late afternoon/ evening so I will have to give the sunset method a go for sure. Thank you for the insight on that!ย

I can relate so much i had the wrong birth time at first for about 45 minutes difference and planetary placements houses were also different and after i got the right one on a time i was getting into knowing astrology more it made so much more sense cause the wrong one wasn't fully adding up like my right chart in general and details but if you also intuitively reading on a chart besides the knowledge like i do it can be a bit trickier for the other to tell the difference and understand which one is right if he/she doesn't know for sure
