Before you begin, you will need to gather your tarot deck and a Tarot Journal. You may light a candle or incense, and perhaps some calming music to create a peaceful atmosphere. As you shuffle, think about your question you want to address.

 

Start by laying out 5 cards in a horizontal line from left to right. The first card, on the far left, represents the past. The second card represents the present. The third card represents the future. The fourth card represents the obstacles or challenges you may face. The fifth card, on the far right, represents the outcome.
