I got back into tarot a few years after dabbling in my early twenties. I was both fascinated and conflicted about tarot then. It's a familiar story; religious upbringing, yada yada yada. I eventually freaked out after a few too many eerily accurate readings and sold my deck to the local bookstore. 😁

 

Since I started reading again, I've been visiting the Aecletic forum archives and learning a lot. I primarily read for myself, but would like to improve my skills, give and get feedback, learn from others, etc., and decided to sign up. I'll stop here; reached word limit. LOL

Yes, I saw so many familiar usernames here I figured this must be where a lot of people migrated to. I have to admit I'm looking forward to not having to count my words. I know I can be kind of wordy, but didn't realize just how much till I had a 100-word limit to contend with. LOL

Hi Opalesce. Yeah, what brings us to tarot varies greatly. For me it was a random event--purely out of the blue that I found myself exposed to tarot, and felt pulled right to it.
