Impressions

The deck seems to read accurately.

I'm at a phase in life where I weirdly appreciate the gender-bending imagery. I can also see using this deck with LGBTQ clients.

I found I couldn't read with B&W decks ... so Pavlov deck was my experiment to read with a limited palette deck.

It worked ... so apparently I need some colors ... but not all the colors.

 

I like that this deck closely follows the RWS system ... yet also has its own vernacular and something different to say.

It's not just a clone of a clone of a clone. It seems to be influenced by the Mucha deck, the Golden Wheel, and Ciro Marchetti decks.

 Question:

Jupiter is in Hamsa Yoga until March. I had planned to finish and publish my book during this auspicious time.

Then. Life. Mostly good things ... not complaining ... but the editing schedule tanked.

I'm 3 months behind and the Hamsa yoga is fast running out. What to do?

 

Cards 1 & 2 = Page pents and Queen Swords.

On a strange life imitates art note ... this deck is gender-bending / gender fluid. Many Courts are androgynous. After years of dressing super feminine, fashionable clothes ... I've croned and just said, f*ck it. I wear men's pajamas and fuzzy slippers. As a crone ... my relationship to gender expression is changing. Yes I still dress professionally when I read with clients ... but it's like I have to get PAID to wear women's clothing now 😂

 

Page pents shows my position as a newcomer in this community crossed by Queen Swords. I've had to set boundaries to not be run round in circles by inefficientcy and chaos. Some of the boundaries are internal (my reactions) Some are external (actual people doing actual things and I have to take a hard line)

 

Cards 5 & 6 (past and future)

Past = Temperance. I had a nice balanced routine. Writing, gym, etc. I got a lot done on the book.

Future = 8 pents. I have a "volunteer job" now. It's a lot of drudgery work. It's taken huge amounts of time away from writing / editing.

Sadly this card in future shows the trend continues. NOT happy with this.

 

Cards 3 & 4 (interior and exterior)

2 pents shows me trying to juggle writing, clients, remodeling 3 houses, and the new job.

5 pents shows the exterior manifestation - a poverty of energy. Finances are fine but health and energy levels are impoverished.

 

Myself = 6 cups ... fond memories of the Temperance time when I wrote and worked-out daily. Heavenly.

Where did that go? How can I get it back?

 

My Environment = Emperor. Working hard to organize my environment. To make efficient systems so my time isn't wasted on nonsense and chaos. It's a herculean task. Structures. I need structures and boundaries.

 

Advice of the cards = 7 pents. Not looking good. This is a slow card.

 

Outcome = 4 swords. I need to rest. I wish I could have a 4 swords writers' retreat.

 

It's not looking good for the book and Hamsa yoga. I cant blame the messenger, tho.
