In my forays there however, I noticed that there are channels devoted to monthly Tarot readings for all the different Zodiac signs. Some of them can run a fair bit too and you know that great thought and effort has been expended in producing these. These videos are usually provided by readers who want to advertise their services, I think? So yeah, have you watched any of them? What do you think about them? Did you find them accurate?
Starlight Posted January 9, 2018 Posted January 9, 2018 I don't watch tarot readers doing a monthly read because having a reading be accurate for every person of that star sign just doesn't make sense to me. Someone I do watch fairly regularly is Athen Chimenti's YouTube channel (Mastering the Zodiac) where he does daily sidereal astrology readings. He's good - he's not so much predicting what will happen as he is interpreting the energies that are around and suggesting what activities are beneficial to focus on. I like him. :)
Padma Posted January 9, 2018 Posted January 9, 2018 I tried one or two of them over the span of two months last year, and did not find them accurate at all. And - I feel the same way about it as Starlight - there are too many influences in a personal chart to be able to just make accurate predictions for a sun sign in general! I find these youtube videos no more accurate than the daily horoscope you can find in the newspapers.

I don't like to have readings done on myself but I will check in on a monthly reading from time to time, not often; from the top 3. They have been extremely predictive for me.

Those are very valid points, statistically speaking. A counterargument that can be made is that they're meant to resonate with those who were destined watch them. But would it be reasonable to assume that all the thousands of viewers who did see the vids would have the exact same fate for the month, give or take a few deviations from the predictions?

Mmmm, I'm not convinced, myself. Have you found them to be accurate when you've watched them?
EmpyreanKnight Posted January 10, 2018 Author Posted January 10, 2018 Tbh I only really noticed them recently when I was looking for videos on Tarot and astrology in YouTube. I did come across them before, but I never knew that they're quite ubiquitous now. But you know what? You have a good point, Starlight. The proof of the pudding is in the eating, so I guess I'd just have to take around five or so sample vids for my zodiac sign for next month, see which channels were reasonably accurate, and check out within the next four or so months if they can be consistent with their results. I think that'd be a pretty good test.
