I'm interested... still picking up the folkways here...

Chat GPT aside for now, is "predicted/prediction" a freighted or fraught word here on TT&M? (Seems to me another way of saying "divination.")

In recent years it's become "unfashionable" to use divination for prediction or good old-fashioned fortune-telling. Using it for self-help or in a more psychological way became very popular. In some places online this became a bit of an angry argument with the other method looked down upon.

In this community, we have always championed whatever kind of readings people want to do, you can do both types 🙂 . We respect other people's own methods.

I have noticed recently a gradual change back to good old-fashioned predictive readings across the net. I think it's linked to young Western people getting into astrology in a huge way and using it for future transits. Also maybe with the pandemic, people want to know about the future again but I can see a shift from how it was 5 years ago.

Anyway this is moving off-topic and would be best as a different discussion, as this is about AI text sites, but that is the state of the divination community online

I asked it a different question today: "What are some ways of improving one's ability with intuition?"

I got:

"Intuition is a valuable skill that can be developed and improved over time with practice. Here are some ways to improve your intuition:

  • Pay attention to your gut feelings: Your intuition often manifests as a gut feeling, a hunch, or an instinctive reaction. Pay attention to these feelings and try to understand where they are coming from.
  • Practice mindfulness: Mindfulness meditation can help you tune in to your thoughts and feelings and become more aware of your intuitive responses.
  • Develop your emotional intelligence: Emotional intelligence is the ability to recognize and manage your own emotions, as well as those of others. By developing your emotional intelligence, you can improve your ability to understand and trust your intuition.
  • Seek out new experiences: Exposing yourself to new and challenging experiences can help you develop your intuition by forcing you to rely on your instincts and make decisions based on limited information.
  • Trust yourself: Trusting your intuition can be difficult, especially if it conflicts with logical thinking or external advice. However, by trusting yourself and your instincts, you can strengthen your intuition and make better decisions.
  • Reflect on past experiences: Reflecting on past experiences and analyzing how you made decisions can help you better understand your intuition and improve your decision-making process in the future.

Remember, intuition is not a magical power, but rather a skill that can be developed through practice and self-awareness"

Again, not bad.

It really isn't! Which is what I find so creepy.

Every day I become more and more convinced that we live in a simulation...

Is our practice and self-awareness tapping into...

Time to go off and have some existential thoughts now lol

The things given out there is the consens of what you may/will find in any book about intuition written in modern times.

The "may" is there because some authors apparently aim to hide a point or two where they base their own kind of teaching on, in order to get customers to pay them more.

What might be interesting: How would that bot-thingy respond to a question like this: "Can you give me a tarot reading on how I can improve my intuition?"

And what if you do not ask but instead order it to "Give me a tarot reading on how to improve my intuition." ?

Personally, I am as much 'on the other side' to such toys as can be - I won't give it the honors of typing something in there with my own fingers.

Yeah.

And according to what the toy gathered from existing materials, pay real good attention to your abdominal reaction 😉
