Hello, my name is Colin Thornton. I am an artist, designer, performer and practicing Budhist.

This seems like a great place to exchange ideas on the Tarot. A few years ago I received several Tarot decks from a friend who could not transport them and this spark my interest and curiosity. I have present begun designing my own deck but so far have just create the Major Arcana.

The Deck Creations section is public on the net

Deck Creation Journals is private if you want to share your deck to just members. I think it's viewable to only members but you might also need 5 posts to get to it. Some areas (like reading areas) also need 5 posts, plus there are less restrictions on posting when you get to that. You are more than welcome to start a thread for your deck in those areas 🙂

I have a number of decks some I believe are more obscure than others. If I am unable to identify the deck missing pack cover etc are there people here who could identify them?

Post your decks in this thread below, attaching (you can after 5 posts) high-quality photos of the front / backs / box / whatever you have for them, really helps....

 

 

You can also start a thread about them (perhaps one for each deck) in the relevant section, eg tarot decks, cartomancy, oracles, etc. But that thread above is a good place for them.

May I pm you 2 cards I made for the defunct  aeclectic tarot forum creative tarot project. ? 

 

There was 2 books about creating your own tarot cards, probaly more now. 

The one I like was by Nancy garen I think.
