So I am opening this House thread so we can exchange some nice points of viewing this card.

It seems such a simple one with a simple meaning but Not!

I usually see the House as the House if someone of course, also as housing.

I would also see it as a place that someone "feels at home", even if it is not their house, or a pace that someone spends lots of hours, like a job, but I feel that this last one might be confusing cause the House is more intimate.

I can also see it as something or someone is stuck, not moving, not developing  being in the same situation, seeing, doing the same things.

But in this meaning I can also see the Anchor, in a more stuck to the well meaning and the Tree as maybe being a bit obsessed about something or someone.

Open for ideas and experiences 😊

Hey @Krystalida thanks for opening this thread. Not sure I would associate the house with being stuck. The traditional meaning of house is: good outcome in everything you do. Stability, everything domestic, a place you feel safe and comfortable and secure. To discuss a card without context and surrounding cards is always a bit tricky in my opinion. Do you have an example of some cards containing the house?

I don't have any examples of it as for being stuck, I just thought about it as something unmovable but the meaning of stability seems to stick a bit more.

@Krystalida

"Stuck" because unmoveable is more an agency of the mountain.

When you arrive at something in your musings which can be covered by another card in-your-face style, it has a tendency to apply where it is more obvious.

Also the Coffin indicates a stop, meaning not being able to move. But not with the House I can not see that. But do you have an other example where you were not sure how to read the House?

oh indeed the Mountain could have this meaning, but maybe with some stubbornness/heaviness

So it is an obvious card, this is a clarifying thought.

Well in the exchange we had with @pacificwaters this month, it seems that I was way off with the House! and it is where I realized that I am missing something here. I thought I had it 🙂

Yup..this is the only sort of meaning that comes to my mind.

Home: a place where one is happy and secure. If this came up for a workplace related question, could it be about some place (here the workplace) where one is happy and spends more time (indications towards being a workaholic)?

That is an interesting thought and possible! It could also mean stepping out of your comfort zone - read that somewhere!

I also see the possibility "of feeling like Home" at workplace,

about someone being workaholic I would see with particular cards, maybe with the Rider or the WHip  maybe, but again not with the House.

Right the feeling at Home at the workplace is possible. But then is it not possible to show a workaholic in combination with whip? If the question is about work and you get that combination?

The business/workplace is your legacy and therefore you are calling the shots…??

I wonder in cases like me, my job is in my house, I have the house splitted, the half is my house and the other half is my Yoga studio.

I also do all my other job/hobbies here, so if anything to happen in job area it reflects directly to my house.

Right I think the House and Whip can mean Workaholic especially if one is asking about work.
