Can the rules of opposition to numbers be used along with tarot as correct prediction? 2 equaling 3, etc.

I don't follow this question. Tarot often uses numerology. Sometimes Kabbalah based, sometimes intuitive or Pythagorean ... all sorts of ways ... What is rules of opposition?

Maybe, if it fits in with your way of seeing the world. Try it and see.

All this number stuff sounds to me like trying to nail jello to the wall.  My Tarot practice is more along spiritual, fluid lines.

That's not a criticism of how Tarot works for you, though, it numbers are the key. I just don't understand it that way.

What are the rules of opposition to numbers? Googling produced nothing. Googling "2 equals 3" brought up a couple of pages about mathematical fallacies. I use very little numerology in my Tarot practice so I probably wouldn't be able to help you in this or some of your other threads. There are lots of members who do use numerology in various ways. Maybe if you explained what you mean, people who aren't familiar with those terms might realize that they do know what you mean and might answer.

Good luck!

All your posts seem to be asking questions about numbers in ways which few of us relate to tarot. Could you please explain where you are trying to go with this ? I know the opposite of a number is its additive inverse, OR that "opposites are two numbers that are the same distance from 0 but on opposite sides of 0. -2 is two places to the left of 0. 2 is two places to the right of 0. 2 and -2 are opposites because they are both 2 places from 0 but they are on opposite sides of 0."

- but - so what ?
