Deshy Posted May 30, 2023 Posted May 30, 2023 Hi guys! My question was whether someone has left his family and moved away from his house. I requested one card but this combo came up: Sun Reversed + Chariot Upright Feels to me like he has left unhappily. The Sun card signifies kids/family as well, so maybe he was sad about leaving his kids? But the Chariot is a definite YES, is that right?
DanielJUK Posted May 30, 2023 Posted May 30, 2023 The Sun (reversed) is quite hard to intepret I think. Reading many books, blogs and authors ideas about the cards, I think there are 3 core ideas about this reversal..... 1. It's a lesser "Sun", it's not as positive or as happy as the sun, but it's not negative either. It could also mean the Sun but lasts a short term, it's a weaker sun 2. Sun burn - If you fall asleep in the sun with no SPF, you become a red lobster! Sun burn hurts and is hot and burns for hours afterwards. This is getting burnt by the situation and wanting to get way. This is an emotional pain and feeling overwhelmed. Wanting to get away from there. This can literally show sun burn or heat stroke. The person might feel exhausted and burnt out by their situation. This situation is too hot! They need to get away. 3. Clouds over the sun - some interpretations are about that the sun is blocked for a limited time. Like on a nice Summer day, the clouds drift over the sun and you feel a lack of warmth and joy. They are not feeling the warmth of this situation and can see no positives. But this might only be temporary for now. They are feeling sad about the situation. Many interpretations are about this reversal being temporary or not too negative. The Sun always has some positivity whichever direction in the end, the rays come through. I am not sure I agree with that but I think it would show they want to get out of this situation, either by being depressed by it or burnt out and exhausted by it. I can't interpret an exact situation in this area, only share interpretation ideas of the cards. The Chariot is about moving ahead, moving on. I think the Chariot doesn't go backwards or stop, so I think this would show moving ahead on their own path.

I feel like he's in a position that he cannot relocate, leave kids and work. BUT, yes! It is very likely that he WANTS to get the hell away from that toxic place and live somewhere more peaceful. Thank you so much!
Deshy Posted May 30, 2023 Author Posted May 30, 2023 Now that you said it, Chariot doesn't have to be physical movement. It could very well mean that he isn't giving up---getting on with what he has been doing all along with willpower and determination. ha!
DanielJUK Posted May 30, 2023 Posted May 30, 2023 I do need to post here that to comply with the forum rules we cannot interpret the reading for this situation, just general ideas about this card combination Also we cannot interpret readings for a couple anyway due to privacy. Let's keep it general ideas about this combo and the cards.
Juperko Posted May 30, 2023 Posted May 30, 2023 When interpreting tarot cards, it's important to remember that the meanings can vary based on the context of the reading and the specific question asked. The interpretation of a card combination is influenced by the individual cards involved and the reader's intuition. In the case of the Sun reversed and the Chariot upright, their meanings can be understood as follows: The Sun Reversed: The Sun card typically represents joy, vitality, and positivity. When reversed, it can indicate a temporary decrease in these qualities. In the context of your question, it could suggest a loss of happiness or a challenging situation regarding family and children. The Chariot Upright: The Chariot represents forward movement, determination, and taking control of one's path. In this position, it signifies progress, success, and a resolute "yes" to a question or situation. It can indicate a person actively moving forward and making decisions. Considering these interpretations, it is possible to interpret the card combination in the following way: The Sun reversed suggests that there may be some unhappiness or challenges related to family or children in the situation you inquired about. The Chariot upright indicates that the person has made a determined decision to move forward and take control of their life, possibly by leaving their family and home.

I was thinking of a "leaving" scenario too. I guess either is possible (him leaving or him deciding to carry on with life") I need to draw more cards to know for sure. I have an easy way to find out whether my initial interpretation is true---they live right next door. Lol
November Posted May 30, 2023 Posted May 30, 2023 Hi, perhaps The Sun Rx here means he couldn't hide the hard truth to himself anymore and finally managed to deal with the reality, thus he finally took charge of the situation and moved away, as to me The Chariot suggests.
DanielJUK Posted May 30, 2023 Posted May 30, 2023 I'm afraid this thread is turning into interpreting the reading. This is not the area for interpreting readings and I'm afraid I have to close the thread. For future reference..... - This section is for discussing interpretations and meanings of a card or a few cards. You can use general themes like these 2 cards for love, career, etc. But not actual readings or situations. It's not the place to post readings without interpretation. We want to discuss the possible ideas and meanings of cards here, not relate them to a specific situation. - Personal Tarot Readings is for posting readings for help with about actual situations. You have to interpret every card first and follow the rules of that area and give feedback at the end. - Readings for other people which are not centred around you in some way, are not allowed for privacy reasons. More about that here Thank you
