(trigger warning... death & violence) 8 of Wands showing up in accidents (readings on people who passed)

Not sure if 8 of Wands has shown up this way for anyone else's readings but twice now it has shown up in readings I did about people who passed in accidents where the event happened very quickly and could not be stopped once it was started...

The first reading was about Kobe Bryant's death.... I took the 8 of Wands to be talking about how the incident with the helicopter happened very fast and that once it had begun there was no way to stop it from crashing.  I also felt the card often being associated with air travel was also pertinent.

Then a few days ago, I was reading for someone whose best friend threw himself on a bomb to save his life (while overseas at war) and again, when I asked about how his friend experienced his passing, I got the 8 of Wands and also the Ace of Cups.  I took this to be saying that it was something that, again, unfolded very quickly and that once it had started (coming into contact with the bomb) that it could not be stopped.  I also interpreted the Ace of Cups as saying he chose to jump on the bomb to save his friend's life out of his love and affection for his friend and also because his friend was expecting a baby with his wife soon (he apparently voiced this before jumping on the bomb.)

Wondering if anyone else has had it show up in readings where someone has passed in an accident.

I also feel like there is also a message there that the passing was swift.  Actually the card for 8 of Wands in the deck I used, was especially poignant for Kobe Bryant as it really spoke to the world mourning him and looking up to him as a great man.  Also with the soldier who gave his life for his friend, I believe it shows the intense grief and mourning from both his friend and others who knew him...again the feeling that he was a hero.  That imagery is attached to the particular deck that I used where it shows The Opening of the Mouth ritual for the dead while those around the sarcophagus wail and mourn and cry.  I often find the words contained in the description of the deck I use will very specifically speak to the situation I'm reading on with key phrases that are highly resonant...

That’s exactly it. Context is everything, and the deck imagery really matters!

Yes, I can give several examples where the imagery of the deck used was very specific to the matter I was reading on.  And each time I picked the deck intuitively, often not even being aware of the card in the deck that would end up coming up and being so spot-on to the situation.  It's one of the reasons why I keep expanding my deck collection too...  More imagery opens up more opportunity for readings to express things very visually and very specifically.
