Star83 Posted January 14, 2018 Posted January 14, 2018 We all know the king of wands is a self absorbed, self entitled, mean but hypersexual emotionless man of fire and passion. But I'm curious to know what would upset/ P off the king of wands. I was thinking that ignoring him, not paying attention to him, paying lots of love and affection and praise to someone other than him. I'm curious to hear other ppls thoughts.
Guest Posted January 15, 2018 Posted January 15, 2018 a Libra person would rub them the wrong way the worst, queen of air?, depends on what deck you use.
sandrang123 Posted January 15, 2018 Posted January 15, 2018 This is a pretty harsh description, Star. C'mon now. ;) I would say perhaps if you want to *gain control,* leaning into them (if you can remain usefully distant), rather than away, might help. Flatter, but only sincerely, or they will surely recognize the insincerity. Find ways to build bridges. I would say don't piss them off, but go around the seeming wall, to get what you want. But that's only if you desire productive outcomes. I mean, if you want to hex them or something...Oy. ;) Best wishes for your concern!
Star83 Posted January 15, 2018 Author Posted January 15, 2018 I'm sorry, but I don't like the king of wands. He's a straight out selfish a hole. And Im asking this question for someone who's ex is a king of wands. She wants to do the opposite to what he wants. Like he left her for another woman and she doesn't want to give him the satisfaction and attention he desires. So I figure, doing the opposite to what this king wants is what she wants. Even though most ppl wouldn't recommend revenge, I still think having an attitude about it can give some healing. So perhaps my advice to her is to pay no attention to him and ignore his authority.
Star83 Posted January 15, 2018 Author Posted January 15, 2018 a Libra person would rub them the wrong way the worst, queen of air?, depends on what deck you use. How curious. I'm a Libra and I don't respect the ego of king of wands.

I'm a Libra and I don't respect the ego of king of wands. king of wands describes an aries person in general, your initial post described every negative aspect the average aries person can possess... when it comes to any sort of relationship advice. opposite zodiacs are the most aggravating and stifling relationships to deal with. So I would combat those personality traits head-on with some Libran traits....which would necessitate some equally negative posturing. A Virgo personality (queen of the earth) or an Aries (jack of air) would have better luck explaining the offensive nature of this person to themselves and perhaps healing the relationship
Cobweb Posted January 15, 2018 Posted January 15, 2018 I'm quite fond of my personal King of Wands (and hence the card!) but I can tell you that what makes him crossest quickest is to refuse his advice. He's a benevolent dictator. He always thinks he knows best, likes people to ask his advice, and hates people making decisions without his input. The plus side of the King of Wands IMO that he is very competent and usually is right when he gives an opinion! He does have good intentions towards his people and is caring - as long as his people accept he's team leader. I always imagine that he's no longer married to the Queen of Wands as I can't imagine how she would put up with him for a lifetime. :-) So if I was advising someone who wanted to annoy an ex-King of Wands, I would say to picture the Queen with her self-sufficiency and enigmatic smile. Be independent and make your own choices.
sandrang123 Posted January 15, 2018 Posted January 15, 2018 Just flat-out ignoring him/treating him like he's not there might really get under his skin. Ego-driven people hate that.
Star83 Posted January 16, 2018 Author Posted January 16, 2018 Thanks guys. Here's another thing I forgot to mention about king of wands and why I dislike them. The kow is someone who has no guilt on practicing his skills on lots of women he thinks are so so, just to develop the experience required to score the really hot chi k he wants and have the best sex with her. He doesn't care about misleading other women and leaving hanging and heartbroken cis he's only concerned about refining his skills. But in thinking about this I've come to realise you can't really hurt a guy like this unless you are that highly sought out woman he craves and you reject him.
Albadawn Posted January 16, 2018 Posted January 16, 2018 What I find really interesting here is that you're describing more of what I would expect from a Knight of Wands, not a King. Kings are masters of their domain, and I feel like you're describing someone who hasn't reached maturity. If the King of Wands is this awful from your point of view, you must REALLY hate the Knight, no? ;) That said. I'm an Aries, and honestly the thing I hate most is being told I'm not in control.
Guest Posted January 16, 2018 Posted January 16, 2018 every sign will have it's positive and negative applications. while an Aries may be all of the things mentioned they are also firey self-starters they can see the end of a cause that has not begun and they instinctively push people to be their best and go further than they ever would alone.... so even though an aries may get frustrated and walk away or destroy what they have built up, where would we be without them? they are explorers the initiators. the good aspects of a Libra will naturally offset an obnoxious Aries actions, but it takes a brilliant Aries to cut through a cynical judgemental Libra's attack. without thinking about it twice ;) this is why these can be such nightmare relationships, the two signs antagonize one another round and round

Well I actually like the knight of wands. Can't say why. I just do. My HB is an Aries but he's represented by the empress and high priestess when I do readings. He's not gay, but he's attractive with strong values and self worth. But I will agree with you that sometimes he needs to be in control. I use that to my advantage in the bedroom. However other ppl know how to push his buttons by telling him he's not in control. Actually, its the king and queen of wands ppl who tell him that. Wow.

I feel competition and belittling to dominate me. I don't feel like a better person when I'm around them. I just stay calm, smile, look at something else I enjoy, deflect. I'm not competitive and refuse to engage in it. However I do have goals and I achieve them. But I do it gently and intelligently.
Guest Posted January 16, 2018 Posted January 16, 2018 once two people of opposite signs get off on the wrong foot, it probably won't get better unless the active person stops projecting or the passive person leaves. i personally did not take this advice and paid for it with a divorce with 5 kids worth of mess. I was the passive end of the relationship and was sure i could fix or sustain whatever was needed. the personalities just start looping, ones positive traits feed the others negative traits, then depending on temperments you have a dictator or a narcissist or a psychopath in your face all the time. find something watery to help you balance out a bit. ;) fish tanks? plants, mini pond rock garden thing.
Star83 Posted January 17, 2018 Author Posted January 17, 2018 Oh my goodness. So it sounds lke you know exactly what I'm talking about. I too see king if wands as narcissist. I also agree that leaving or just paying attention to anything g but them is the only way. They just want s combat. Good advice about the watery? Where did u get that idea from? Cos my HB and I have 'cups' type of relationship and it makes those kow ppl cringe haha.
Guest Posted January 17, 2018 Posted January 17, 2018 The king of wands is a fiery temperament Libra is airy and feeds fire, water extinguishes. That metaphor extends as far as you can imagine. Actual water, people that are water signs, things that are ruled by the water signs. A card that represents the moon or venus for you would probably be great sources of balance.
