..., I have learnt with experience that you have to be so careful about who you get readings from. I would leave the readings from here out of this because this is a place of learning ...

I just realized my previous post was a bit off topic ... but yes ... it was my roundabout way of saying I *DO* like getting readings from other ppl ... as long as they are good readers. In spite of this forum being a learning space I have a good level of trust for the people here and have received accurate, helpful readings here [even with the different skill levels]. IRL I'm lucky enough to have 3 graduate students from my courses who became friends ... and we swap readings now. I always find their readings helpful.

To me the give and take of giving and receiving readings is part of Tarot's magic. I like both sides.

I'm thankful for all the perspectives and posts.  It sounds like we all just are looking for what we're looking for (or not looking for).  I think if I were younger, I would probably enjoy getting a reading more.  73 next month, settled where I want to be settled finally, content.  The biggest changes would only likely be ones I don't want to know about and if I do, I read for me.

But reading everyone's posts I so see where you're all coming from.  Reading your explanations about why you feel the way you feel was enlightening.
