The World as Feelings?

What does the world mean in tarot in general? And what does it mean when you’re asking what someone thinks of you?

I haven’t had this in a while but just thought I’d ask!

The World is a conclusion or ending, it's the end of a cycle and the end of the major arcana. You have gone through all the other majors and this is now complete and a new cycle beings with The Fool. What has been accomplished this cycle? This is also the world, it can sometimes represent travel.

About Feelings, this is a change in state. Sometimes this can show the end of a relationship, feelings have changed. I always see this card when a relationship breaks up as two people shaking hands and thanking each other for what they have done for each other in growth and the times together. So it's quite amicable. A mutual agreement that the feelings or relationship has run it's course. I mentioned a change in state, so it could be someone who has feelings and then wants to get in a relationship. The end of being single as a cycle, it could be people getting engaged or getting married, or getting a house or having kids. This card takes it to a new cycle.

What they think of you? they want a change in the current state, friendship > dating, something like that. It depends on the context if it appearing more positive or negative in the reading.

Hi, for me The World as feelings means a person moved on after a break up, but without drama, because they accepted this was for their own good.

In that case, I would like to share my views on "What someone thinks of you?" and "Feelings".

What someone thinks of you?

In positive:

  • Person who has many resources to get what they want
  • Person who does things well
  • Person who feels fulfilled
  • Sociable person and open to the world
  • Person who knows himself well
  • Person who knows how to communicate
  • Outgoing person
  • Happy person
  • Person who trusts himself
  • Person who controls the situation
  • Popular, Person with social recognition.
  • Charismatic person
  • Person with projects to move forward
  • Person with achievements and triumphs
  • Brilliant person
  • Smart person
  • Resourceful person
  • Diplomatic, impeccable person
  • Person with vision of the future
  • Person with a positive attitude towards life
  • Person who is fully
  • Completely successful person

In negative

  • Person locked in his world
  • Person who overestimates their abilities
  • Person who underestimates others
  • Person with a feeling of superiority
  • Person who does not value everything they have
  • Person who believes that everyone should be at their feet

As feelings

I think this energy has many nuances when related to emotions and feelings. Emotions connected to enjoyment, pleasure, ecstasy. "WOW!" - The person is "the" person. It means the world. Fill in all the spaces. It's unique. Almost on a pedestal, "above all mortals".

But Not necessarily romantic. There is affinity, belonging, a deep bond. Fertile emotions that can bear good fruit. Here I see a feeling that transcends, is bigger than ourselves. Like Agape love.  Different about Eros (Lovers, Devil) or Philia (Empress, Sun). Something that can be found in the relationship between parents and children, siblings, friends...

I hope it's useful!

Someone thinks the world of you.

That was my take on it too.
