I'm a newbie to Tarot, though in the past I used the I Ching. I'm sorry I didn't pursue Tarot earlier, as it seems to me to be much more helpful and interesting.

I've been drawing one card a day since Sept. 5 of this year and I've used Excel to develop some statistics. I have a lot of questions: the preponderance of Swords and Wands, as well as Reversed cards, and, regrettably, the occurrence of only 3 Cups out of 76 draws. I must not be a very lovable/loving person! My excuse is 40 years in corporate America.

I'm using the Rider Waite Smith deck and my source books, so far, are Rachel Pollack's "Seventy-eight degreees of wisdom," and Stefanie Caponi's "Guided Tarot."

I look forward to learning. Thanks, everyone.

Welcome to the community @maywander 😀:78496: Glad you have found us here :78496:

I love the idea of spreadsheeting all the cards that come up for analysis, very clever 🙂

When you get to 5 posts, you have more freedom posting in the forum and can access the reading and exchange areas. Also, you can take out a journal here if you would like to write up readings and cards

Wow! Spreadsheeting, I love it. That’s some deep analysis. I like that Pollack book, but haven’t read the other.
