Hello, new blood here! My name is emi. 

I've been practicing tarot for a little over a year now. I had a friend gift me a deck that he had but didn't use. I didn't think much of it at the time until I was looking through the deck and two cards happened to fall out onto the floor. Then I was just hooked. I can recall times in my younger years where I had weird things happen and a strange sense of knowing but I never actively explored it. Never thought I had what it takes. I was always interested in spiritual concepts but sort of had blinders on and just lived life in ignorant bliss until recently. I've begun to really actively research and found some new perspectives on past experiences. The more I deep dive the more I start to feel a little stunted with my intuition. Maybe I'm going too hard too fast. 

 

ANYWAY, I have only really been reading tarot for myself and wanted to see about how to practice with others. I live in a small town where I couldn't find any groups and now here I am on this lovely forum. I'm excited to learn from everyone's journeys and perspectives and am hoping to get some practice as well! I really do feel in my gut this is part of my path and I can't wait to be part of a community with like-minded folks. ❤️

The deck that was gifted to me was the Marigold Tarot and since then I have acquired several decks! Lately, I've been using Wyspell and Golden Art Nouveau with assisting various oracle decks. My new favorite oracle deck is the Citadel deck. IT IS SO BEAUTIFUL.

Welcome @LittleMoon.  Community is so important.  You are going to love the many opportunities that this forum offers for sharing and learning together.  Once you can post, why not re-visit those 2 cards that fell out.  Tell us what your hit is on them and then we can share as well.  Recognizing the importance of those jumpers is you intuition in play. Just relax and have fun.  You have all of the time in the world to play and to explore.

That is a great idea to revisit the 2 cards. I haven't really thought about them for a long time until signing up for this forum and writing that introduction post! I was nervous at first, everything felt a bit intimidating but everyone seems to be so kind! I am excited! 🙂
