Hey guys.

I'm using the golden art nouveau tarot deck and I have encountered some problems with this 5 of cups. I would like to know your opinions.

1. As you can see, the 3 fallen cups has liquid with different colours (one is red, could that be wine or blood? One is blue or transparent, I suppose water) what do you think this refers to? Elements?

2. I understand that this man in the 5 of cups original card is quite depressed, disappointed, regret or feeling powerless because the 3 fallen cups, meanwhile he ignored the 2 upright cups behind him, which could be some emotional support that he can have once he turned back. But on this card, the upright cups are on the tail of his long cloak. Once he notices and turned back for this "emotional support", they will fall! Just imagine how despaired this man will be. I discussed it with my friend (who also studied tarot) and we said it's quite a vicious design (lol). I would really like to see your opinions about these.

P.s. I can't insert any image, but you should be able to find Its picture online.

Unfortunately this thread discussing a card sits in the wrong location (it should be in Individual Card Meanings) but you need 5 posts to post in that area. You also need 5 posts to attach images. There are restrictions until someone has reached that threshold. When you get to 5 posts we will move the thread there but for now the thread has been temporarily locked.
