So iv always have been drawn to tarot ever since i was a kid and had a free pack of tarot cards on a magazine. All though as an adult iv never jumped into it.  Never new were to source cards from, didn’t want to buy on line with out holding them etc. Iv ended up buying some counterfeit decks unbeknown to me due to my lack of knowledge and research, I saw them in my local well being shop and I felt I strong connection so got them. And now this deck really really speaks to me. I ended up buying 3 different packs two I haven’t used until last night I felt one in particular had a message for me. In which it did but I’m so disappointed that they are not official. 
The deck that really speaks to me is the Madhouse deck. And I’m desperately trying to source an official deck. 
I did however buy the witches wisdom deck which I’m yet to fully bond with. As I’m working on learning the traditional meanings and applying them to daily pulls.

i also bought two oracle decks. The starseed deck and  moonolgy. The day I bought the starseed deck I was drawn to moonolgy really strongly but the lady in the shop said it was really popular and she had sold loads that week which put me off. 
But I returned to the shop to pick up some crystals as iv started to make my own chakra bracelets and when I was in the shop I felt like the moonolgy cards were drawing me in calling my name so I bought them. 
 

iv really jumped into practise and I have loads to say but reached my word limit lol

The only official source I have found of the Madhouse Deck (I hope this is the same deck you talk of), is this Swiss tarot shop -

That is an official source but sadly it's quite an expensive deck.

 

There are some threads on the forum about buying counterfeit decks and avoiding this, worth reading through the red flags to watch out for 🙂

it’s really annoying because I’d gone into the shop after trying to find some where locally rather than buying on line and I was sort of convinced that they was legit combined with my eagerness to by them

Apparently on the Etsy, they just had a reprint about 6 months ago and so stock is short going out everywhere. It's just been coming back in on etsy and other places.

It's wonderful to support local tarot shops and bookshops which stock products but often they only have mass-market decks and books (like the kind you find on amazon). They are from big publishers and have an easy supply chain to all these shops. A lot of people self-publish or there are small publishers. Often these are direct from the artist or online only. It's good that now artists can do it themselves and don't have to get picked up from the big publishers and gives us more choice. Often decks from other countries than ours can be very expensive to get to us, mass market decks are easier to get around the world.

The artists are Swiss. Those two links above are the only place to now find genuine new Madhouse decks.

 

It's always worth asking shops if they can get decks in for you but there is no chance with a crowdfunded, self-published deck.
