Personally, i like six of cups, it has a sense of nostalgia and good memories.

I've moved this thread to Tarot Talk & Technique, where it will fit better 😉

Three of cups is pretty much always a happy card for me! It denotes parties and friendships and good times with the kind of people who fill my soul. Almost always nice to see in a reading.

Probably overall?  The Magician (upright.)  When The Magician comes up in a reading—in a favourable position in the reading—I know I can make things happen ...even things that seem impossible.  For me, it's the most empowering card in the deck.  I have the will, the means, the tools, and the skill ...so fire ahead!  It will work.

I'm having a funny night - Eclipse day has been far from smooth running for me 🙃

Favourites can change according to the season or my mood. But most of the time my favourite card is The High Priestess.

Now when I thought about why,

I had to read you this:

"Mysterious & grandmotherly, The kids from the neighbourhood call you "The Oracle" after the character in The Matrix movies. She was the mysterious soul who served as a counsellor of sorts to NEO.

Just like the oracle you enjoy baking, smoking cigarettes and dishing out prophecy. Your a combination of opposites, embodying duality - while motherly and caring, you also enjoy making people uncomfortable. Your job is to unbalance the Matrix in order to break a cycle"

~ The Numinous Tarot Guide, Rashunda Tramble.

Sometimes - I am she.  And in being she I am at the eye of the storm - in perfect balance.

And the rest of the time - I aspire to be she.

And in my own Tarot deck - which is currently still just a collection of pictures (in process) - my Priestess card - is a real life Priestess that I admire.

An interesting thing that I realised just now - it that most of the decks that I read with - do not have an image of a Priestess that completely satisfies me (!).

1) I like the one from The New Wild Green Chagallian Tarot - but it's not a full deck and I don't read with it.

2) I mostly like the Priestess from Tarot Apokalypsis - here, she is depicted as a rather mature looking Persephone.

I've attempted to upload a photo of 1) but I'm having issues...

2) may not happen at all tonight as my internet is playing up and I 1st have to email the photo to myself before I can post it here.

I think my favourite has to be The Star. Without hope we don't have much! So it's always nice to get in a reading when supported by positive cards.

There's also an element of pouring out or letting go of what's no longer needed. The water from the jugs is poured into a stream/river and some back onto land (depending on the deck). This feels like what is being released is returning to its source to be utilised by something else. A bit like donating things you know will benefit others to charity.

It also often comes up as clarity or direction in my readings. So is good at nudging the querent in the right direction to achieve what they want. There's a strong feeling of contentment around this card. Like the stars are aligning in a way where things will work out fine. Which fits with the more archaic definition that hope represents trust in a higher power. 😊

I love the Moon, the High Priestess/Popess, and the Hermit the most. They're all about intuition, the hidden knowledge, and the various aspects of following the spiritual path.

I heavily fancy The Emperor the most, with Strength coming in second.

I like the Queen of Swords. I guess because I feel like it represents me

For me it depends on the deck. For many decks, it's the 3 of Cups, for the same reasons already mentioned. For the Medieval Scapini, it's the High Priestess. Often it's one of the Pages, especially when they're represented as female, like in the Robin Wood; despite my age, I am so much a Page!
