Oh uhm, hello everyone! My name is Chastelia, I'm a beginner tarot reader and a beginner practitioner/witch. My pronouns are They/Them, and I'm a black individual! I've been reading tarot and oracle cards/decks inconsistently for about.... 2 years(?). I found this forum while looking for how people who are autistic interact with tarot and oracle reading (As I am Autistic myself) and I'm amazed by this place. I didn't know that people still used forums anymore (I know, I sound SO young and that's because I am. I'm turning twenty-one this year.). But it's good to know that there's still an active community up here that could assist me throughout my tarot reading journey. I'm not sure where I can start making posts and asking questions, but I'm just meant to just chime in and start posting. Thank you for letting me be a part of this and I hope that we can all get to know each other and uplift each other in the process.

@MinoriChoco welcome. you have to make 5 posts [here is a good place] and then you can start participating in the exchanges and whatnot.

I'm also ASD and just discovered it at age 59! Which was mind-blowing. I'm 60 now and feel so much more at peace knowing how to take care of myself around the ASD instead of feeling "other". Tarot has been my passion since age 15 ... so 45 years it's been a part of my life. It helped me understand ppl. As an undiagnosed ASD it was a valuable tool to cope with my very strange life.

Welcome @MinoriChoco.  I am ASD as well.  This is a nice safe place to interact, learn and have fun.  Doing Tarot and Oracle readings are one of my favorite things.  I find it  easy and comfortable to interact with people when I am sharing something that I love a lot and that I understand really well.

Oh all right, thank you! I'll start getting started on my posts and congrats on your diagnosis! I'm glad that that tarot was an integral part of your life.
