That was before my time haha. I'm almost 29 so in those days I was too young for tarot. Now I feel too "old" for some of the sites people are using.

 

When I tried TikTok, kids literally commented just to call me old.

Try being almost 47 like myself......lol. Tik Tok is beyond me. Pretty much Facebook and Youtube are the only places you will find me.

Old at 29??!!! I think I'm ancient. I only get on TikTok to watch videos my kids send me anyway. Not about to subject myself to being called old by anybody but myself. Lol

there's an online mentality that if you're not in middle and high school or at least frat/sorority age that you aren't cool and are old and shouldn't be online, apparently.

Thankfully I haven't run into that yet. I seem to get hit on all the time by men in their 20s and early 30s though so maybe I pass the cool test for the "older" young crowd. Little do the younger people know, we made the internet what it is today.

Actually, I almost agree with them. I think we ALL shouldn't be on TT, IG, SC, FB, Discord, Twitch, and the other toxic cesspools and time sinks. Even Reddit is bad. No one dissed me for being old on the r/tarot ... but someone posted that the traditional Empress image as a pregnant woman was "hetero-normative" and should be banned.

That's what brought me here. To a place where the Empress can be happily pregnant as she has been for 500 years 🤣

Welcome! I've always been more comfortable on old school forums too, though I've been trying to get used to Discord. I think I count as middle aged by this point.
