I am glad you have found us from Egypt, it sounds quite the adventure going from NYC to Dahab 🙂 

Spirit took me here, embodying the Fool wholeheartedly. I felt trapped in NYC even if had all the commodities, I just wanted to leave the country and I found a one-way ticket JFK to Cairo cheap at 1AM and at 11AM I was already on the plane! The year and a half I've been here have been a steep learning curve for sure.

 

@MistereiWhat part of California? I got the chance to visit L.A. for a week, didn't see much but I liked the vibe!

Ventura. North of LA. Whole different world. Someday I fear LA will swallow us. Meanwhile it's slower here.
