RickInBakersfield Posted July 25, 2024 Posted July 25, 2024 I did about 15 years ago, the deck wasn't quality stock, but the cards seemed to be very accurate & very direct with cards like YES-NO-NEVER etc. I am considering getting another deck from here...Psycards International - Psycards, Catt Foy (psycardsusa.com) What is your experience with the cards?
FindYourSovereignty Posted July 26, 2024 Posted July 26, 2024 I have them, but have not used them yet. I am curious to hear what others have experienced.
Raggydoll Posted July 26, 2024 Posted July 26, 2024 I once owned this deck but have since gotten rid of it. I was never drawn to using it. Maybe it’s just me, I’m not big on decks with Jungian archetypes or on psychological reading styles.
DanielJUK Posted July 26, 2024 Posted July 26, 2024 I really like the Psycards but then I like the Jungian archetypes. I think Maggie Kneen did the artwork and Nick Hobson created the system and the meanings. I found out researching them in the past that it was one of the first "mail order" decks. You would order them from Nick Hobson here in London and send a cheque from all the around the world. This was in 1982! As far as I know, the deck still has really thin card stock, there is only one deck type in a cardboard box. Someone contacted Hobson (who used to also offer readings and lecture groups with them) in recent years and he has retired I think. But the deck is a franchise, so you buy it from the website that covers your geographical area. He handed the UK site to someone else to look after the last time I looked. There are many books that go with the deck. I can tell you the best and worst of them if you are interested, you can read it without the book, but you do only get a tiny leaflet with it. I found an additional book quite useful to go deeply into the cards but you can read them intuitively quite easily as well. It's one of my fave oracle decks It's my go to deck for readings about finding meaning in something.
