CaneRandagio Posted July 30, 2024 Posted July 30, 2024 Hi guys and girls!😀 As per object, I would like to understand one thing. Currently, to understand the meaning of a specific card, if I need it, after reading, I shuffle on the cards and spread again asking for explanations on that specific card difficult to interpret (or more than a card) and this method works well.✌️🏻 But I would like to understand if it is possible, instead of shuffle the deck and spread again, for each uncertain card, continue to spread one, two, three or more cards under each card (uncertain). Which technique do you usually use and with what results? Thanks for the sharing of your experiences 🙏🏻

If I do, I do not reshuffle. I pull the next card right off the top of the deck. When I use a clarifying card it is because a client needs further direction or explanation. Rather, I sit with the card. I pray. I see what feels right. Clarifying cards can 'muddy the waters'. The meaning that you need is right there in the card. Meditate upon that card. Hopefully you record your readings. The more experience you build up, the more you will develop your own unique interpretations for each card in the deck. Be patient with yourself. It will come. It just takes time and experience. Best wishes, @CaneRandagio

DanielJUK Posted July 30, 2024 Posted July 30, 2024 Similar to @Natural Mystic Guide, more and more often, I like to contemplate my readings. Especially if I can't quite understand a card or it doesn't all fit together. The spread fits together like a story for me and it's frustrating when it feels like I haven't quite deciphered it, like figuring out a secret code or learning a language. So I sit with it, maybe over a few days and suddenly it will come to me in a moment. I really suggest sitting with it / meditating / praying / whatever calls to you. Thinking about it is underrated! My methods for getting further info if needed (in order) - 1. Contemplate the cards for a while (usually over a few days) 2. Looking up other interpretations and ideas in reference books and on google, does some other ideas trigger anything? This is the academic approach, look at other sources. 3. Share the reading here to get a second opinion 4. Take a clarifier, I also rarely do but I do! Personally it's not for when you don't understand the card. That won't help, it's for when a card is not clear
RickInBakersfield Posted July 30, 2024 Posted July 30, 2024 I have been using a clarification/indicator card, which is inserted into the deck by the querent to choose their cards to read. The indicator remains face-down on the table during the reading, then after the reading if I need further info, I'll refer to it. But I really like everyone's advice better which give it a try next time out. Rick
