Kluizenaar Posted August 8, 2024 Posted August 8, 2024 Hi there, I’m a 38-year-old from the Netherlands with a strong interest in tarot, which I developed through my passion for the arts and poetry. I see tarot as a valuable tool for self-reflection and introspection, with the cards serving as a mirror to the mind. I view the spiritual and psychological aspects of tarot as complementary rather than exclusive. I approach tarot analytically, focusing on the details and meanings of the cards, though I’m still relatively inexperienced. The Hermetic Tarot is my favorite for its deep symbolism and poetic qualities. Looking forward to connecting with others and discussing tarot.

I'm glad you ask about my name, since the answer is quite meaningful to me. "Kluizenaar" means "Hermit". It's an interesting word, because it is related to the word "kluis", which can be translated as "vault" or "safe" (the noun). Literally you co also say "kluizenaar" means "vault person" or "vault keeper". This reflects the meaning of the Hermit perfectly to me: he is the keeper of valuables deep inside the subconscious of the reader.
DanielJUK Posted August 8, 2024 Posted August 8, 2024 Thanks for sharing about it @Kluizenaar, I love it's meaning! Hermit is more meaningful in Dutch 🙂
Ix Chel Posted August 8, 2024 Posted August 8, 2024 @Kluizenaar welcome to this forum. I am also from the Netherlands. I use Tarot for divination and insights.
