Hi from Germany!

Hi there!

I signed up an account years ago, but kept thinking that the process failed as I was never able to sign in. Kept trying and then my lack of patience drew me to other topics in life.

This morning I woke up in sweet memory of Aeclectic Tarot and tried to give it another shot. And tadaaa! My e-mail adress was recognized, changed password and signed into my account for the very first time. Happy days!

 

I'm 44 years and been dabbling with cards since my teens. I had my first reading at the age of 16 done by an elder wiccan friend when I had to leave Ireland for Germany.

Still remember it vividly. She was more of an intuitive reader. But she was spot on with young,dumb naughty me messing with 2 boys at the same time and 1 of them being severe trouble to stay away from. (That guy ended in prison for selling drugs not long after.)

This left quite an impression on me.

 

Shortly after I got my own first proper deck. Rider-Waite Smith. All I had was the little white book. There was little information around in Germany and no Internet back then.

I kept reaching for the cards whenever life felt spiraling out of and control. But then I usually dropped it again. Sometimes I spooked myself so badly out that I even threw them away.

10 years ago I picked them up again. Of course being terribly lovesick at the time again. But luckily I found Aecletic Tarot.

This time I got stuck on learning them.

 

A lot of time has passed. My practice and experience has grown. Still learning, it never stops. And I'm happy to meet other card slingers.

I already noticed the restrictions. But those make perfect sense and their is plenty of interesting and lovely content to read anyway and I prefer to take it slow.

But then I can see myself falling into rabbit holes at night.

Currently its noon time around here and I really should start getting active. Been lazing all morning.
