kalliope Posted October 28, 2024 Posted October 28, 2024 I've finally found my way here, so many years after Aeclectic shut down! I see a few familiar names, which is so nice. I've always gone through on and off phases with all my divinatory interests, but without AT to spur me along this was a very, very long off phase. Anyway, happy to be here!
DanielJUK Posted October 28, 2024 Posted October 28, 2024 Welcome to the community @kalliope so glad you have found us over here 🥰 hopefully we can inspire and help you back on your divination journey!
Misterei Posted October 28, 2024 Posted October 28, 2024 Hi @kalliope. Are you Greek? LOL this used to be my email handle [for the Greek muse of epic poetry]. So it caught my eye to see the name again. Welcome. I'm also a migrant from Aeclectic Forum.
Hemera Posted November 2, 2024 Posted November 2, 2024 Welcome! Oh, I remember you from AT,too. Nice to have you join us. 🤩 (I also have a Greek name, but I´m not Greek.)
kalliope Posted November 12, 2024 Author Posted November 12, 2024 Hi Misterei! Yes, I'm Greek! 🙂 (not 100% but my father's paternal family is). I've used the name from mythology as a username and email handle for a very long time also as a nod to that. Hello to another Kalliope! And thanks to everyone for the warm welcome. Nice to see that a few of you remember me too! I tried to use the quote function but some sort of limits prevented me from replying. Not sure which limit rule I was breaking, though. Maybe a quote is an image and I don't have that function yet?
Scandinavianhermit Posted November 12, 2024 Posted November 12, 2024 I wasn't a member at the old forum, but I wish you welcome, @kalliope!
DanielJUK Posted November 12, 2024 Posted November 12, 2024 @kalliope there are some posting restrictions until you get to 5 posts and then you are free to use the forum unlimited 🙂 . Also you can then see the reading and exchange areas.
JoyousGirl Posted November 14, 2024 Posted November 14, 2024 Welcome @kalliope. The world has changed a lot, but this place is a little bit like our old 'home' at Aeclectic, so hopefully it will be like a comfortable old armchair.
