Oracle Pairings

I'm looking for advice on pairings for the Buffy the Vampire Slayer Tarot, but also thought this thread could be used to post your favorite tarot+oracle pairings.

What are you looking for: a visual match and/or something that will complement your deck and provide more well rounded interpretations? If the latter, then it helps to pinpoint what it is you think is lacking with this deck. Why does it need to be combined with another system? Just for the fun of it or because you think you could get better readings that way? All those things matter.

Would you be pulling one oracle card towards the end of the reading, or would you pull an oracle card for every tarot card? Are you looking for a deck that gives advice, or that provides more details? Or do you want an Oracle that pinpoints the theme of the reading? There are so many different style of oracles and it really depends on what you want the deck to add to your reading. But maybe you’re only wanting something that looks good next to your tarot deck?

ETA: I googled this deck and the color scheme makes me think of the moonology deck. I am thinking those could look good together 🙂

I pair tarot and oracle cards always, and sometimes when I use an especially colorful tarot, I like to pair it with a black and white oracle deck (like this one, the Wandering Soul Oracle). I do like @Raggydoll's suggestion of the Moonology deck (which is affordable and easy to find).

6 cards from the wandering soul oracle deck, showing moon phases, lunar moth, antique lock, rib cage, the queen chess piece, wooden sealed crate. drawn in black and white. indie tarot oracle deck.

I'm new to this, so I'm open to any advice. I'm thinking both end-of-reading advice and clarifiers. I have the Everyday Witch oracle and the Believe in Your Own Magic oracle that I think work with a certain demographic, but they're not aesthetic matches, and very witchy. I'm not against witchy, but I'd like to also have an alternate. I've heard of Moonology, and it could work well, but I have no astrological knowledge.

That particular deck does not require any astrological knowledge. It’s fairly straightforward to work with the moon, and the deck has keywords and works like a regular oracle. But it was just a suggestion based on the style 😊
