Here's a good one that seems relevant. One answer she got from a prominent neurologist: I think you can slip this in here. I don't think consciousness comes from anywhere. It is everywhere. It is omnipresent and omniscient.

This reminds me of the books by Lothar Schäfer. He was a quantum physicist who wrote several books on the omnipresent consciousness of our universe. I read his Infinite potential, and it was a very fascinating read.
