Thank you everyone for your support. Attendance was low, however, it allowed me to shift gears a bit and have greater attention on using their own decks. The activities were well received and an hour and twenty minutes flew by. It was great fun. The librarians said they had a lot of interest and would like me to come back. I am thinking on a weekend.

Edit to add: I did bring large versions of TdM and Thoth to show and two standard RWS for use. We started right out with pulling cards from their deck they felt represented their day and share why. It flowed very easily after that because they really wanted to get into their own decks, compare images, tallk about what they saw and felt from the card, see the story they could tell from putting three cards together, etc.

Excellent, @FindYourSovereignty.  You never know how something like that will go down till you try.  Sounds as if you engaged the people who turned up AND intrigued the librarian as well.  I do believe the best way to introduce tarot to people is get it working for them right off the bat.  Which you did.

That's great - I'm so glad you are going to carry on with it.

That's awesome! A fun way to learn.

Thank you all for your support and encouragement. I really enjoyed it and, thanks to all the great insight shared here, I went over prepared with lots of hands-on activities. It made it fun for everyone. I look forward tto doing it again.
