what got you into Tarot? Which deck(s) do you hve and use?

 

I am a relative noob to this forum, but have been doing Tarot and Runes for 40+ years. There is always something new to learn!!!

Wow that’s wild, I’m actually only in my 20s. I can’t necessarily pinpoint what exactly made me get into tarot, but I know it partially stems from me always feeling like I just knew things. People would ask me how I felt about situations and I somehow always knew the course. I currently use the Modern Witch deck and the Haunted Museum deck (by Zac Baggans, pls don’t judge me it was a gift lol). What are your favorite decks in your collection? I’m obviously a noob in comparison to you with tarot

so, I started getting into Tarot in my 20's as well!!! Before that I had been reading into all of the Golden Dawn and Western Hermetic systems, and was just starting Qabbalah. That naturally led me to the Tarot. My very first touch to "other worldly" things was studying The Runes starting in my early teens. 

 

I got my first deck - the classic Rider Waite Smith deck in 1991-ish, and still mainly use it. I own about 8 decks right now. Other than that RWS, I have my Winterwoven Deck, which is based on the flora and fauna of the Pacific Northwest and a really cool, old Polish deck called The Lesenikúv Tarot. It is very "dark" in it's imagery. I just recently got the Sola Busca deck, and boy, is it different!! It is a complete study in and of itself!!

 

and I am not judging about Zak Baggans...the first 3 or 4 seasons of Ghost Adventures were freaking awesome. He was always sort of corny, but I liked them, having experienced quite a few paranormal things my self in my life. It is too bad how that all ended up though...
