November Posted June 13 Posted June 13 Hello everybody, I often find it hard to interpret these two ladies in readings about sex. Both Queens enjoy the sexual side of a relationship, but I can't explain how. The Queen of Wands is very passionate and hot, she doesn't like any restriction in her sexual life, so she does it her own way, though also the Queen of Pentacles enjoys the physical side of love, as her focus is on the body. However, I feel like I can't interpret her properly in this context, I often end up to say the same things as I would say for the other Queen. What do you think? What are your experiences with these two cards? Thank you in advance.
Raggydoll Posted June 13 Posted June 13 I was tempted to say something very cheeky based on the shape of the suit emblems, but I’ll be a good girl and refrain from that 😝 The queen of pentacles would be one who takes it slow but also likes to get down and dirty 😁 I think she would prefer a picnic blanket in a secluded grove, over a hotel bed or a kitchen table. I bet she likes massage (either to give or receive) and that she’d rather be naked than put on fancy and expensive lingerie. The queen of wands is very different. She’s more of a kitchen-table-quicky kind of person, and she’ll be inclined to take charge. If someone offered her a picnic blanket in a secluded grove, she’d probably say that there is no need for a blanket because that oak tree seem to have a good enough angle 🤣
FindYourSovereignty Posted June 13 Posted June 13 I think the QW likes to try new things, keep things moving, change things up, and keep it fresh. The QP is slower paced, more practical, aware of the little details that make it more enjoyable (or not), and wants all of her senses involved. I also think the QW may respond to the opportunity quicker than the QP.

Chariot Posted June 20 Posted June 20 I'd say the Queen of Pentacles would be quite influenced by the physical surroundings during sex. She will appreciate effort made to make the situation pleasant, even luxurious. She gravitates towards luxury ...she can provide it as well. I'd say the Queen of Wands will not really care what the surroundings are like, as long as nothing interferes with the event. There is a bit of patience and foresight versus spontanaiety and opportunity at work here. Both Queens will fully enjoy (and expect) physically satisfying sex, though. Neither of them is likely to fall for—or retain—an inconsiderate or lukewarm lover.

Ferrea Posted June 20 Posted June 20 When this thread started, I immediately thought of how these queens are depicted in the Dürer Tarot, because the contrast between them made me ponder this exact question. Just to add to what has already been said: I think of the Queen of Wands as more playful and someone who can get a lot of pleasure and excitement through sheer imagination.
