Time with tarot?

How many hours do you think you spent with your tarot decks a day / week?

Probably around 7 hours per week ...on average. I try to do a 4-or-5-card reading every morning—which takes about an hour from start to finish, which includes journaling the reading.  This not helps prepare me for the day ahead but allows me to get more practice in.  I sometimes skip a couple of days, but then I also do bigger readings every now and again.  I'd say average of 7 ...not counting being on this forum and reading tarot books!

What about you, @Libra 58?  How much time do you spend with tarot?

Ordinary days (whatever that means) I only draw my daily card and write down the name in a calendar, don´t write anything more about the card.

So about 5 minutes.

It´s not often that I do any readings for myself, maybe 2-4 times in a year!

I spend more time with reading about tarot, looking at decks, reading other peoples sites etc.

That can be many hours a week.

 

Hope to spend more time in the future with all my decks.

That’s an interesting question. I have never thought about it. I suppose it would depend on the day. The average would probably be around one hour per day. I do a daily draw and then journal those cards in my Tarot journal.

Sometimes I just sit on my bed and hold one of my decks and lightly shuffle it or study the images. 

I can imagine professional readers spending several hours each day with their cards.
