geoxena Posted August 12 Posted August 12 (edited) Hey there! I have been trying to find the website that is basically a large directory (with images) of tarot decks, going back a number of years. I could be wrong, but I think it was created by a guy who had a large collection and was selling some of them off, originally. But it is also useful for reference because it shows images and the dates that decks were published. I don't know why I can never remember who it was or how to find it. Can anyone point me in the right direction? @gregory, I know you have posted links to it in the past, but I couldn't find those posts. Edited August 12 by geoxena

gregory Posted August 12 Posted August 12 It probably is Adam McLean's site as @FindYourSovereignty says - and he also write a blog of when he got his decks https://www.alchemywebsite.com/Tarot/tarot_weblog.html and a huge database. https://www.alchemywebsite.com/Tarot/Tarot_database.html
geoxena Posted August 13 Author Posted August 13 Thanks very much! I believe that is the one, although in my mind's eye, the pages of images were laid out a bit differently from what he's done there. I seem to remember rows and rows of card images, but I could just be misremembering. Either that, or he's made some changes. Don't know why his name escaped me for so long. I will keep perusing the site. I am mostly using it to review the various artistic styles that have been used. Thanks again!
FindYourSovereignty Posted August 13 Posted August 13 If you click on the location links at the rare-tarot there are many images of each deck.
fire cat pickles Posted August 13 Posted August 13 https://www.learntarot.com/decks1.htm has decks that are sampled, not sure if it is the site you are looking for.
