qofrumin Posted August 26 Posted August 26 I'd like to start a light-hearted thread for our past tarot readings for simple questions where the result predicted by the card already happened and we found it funny that the given card represented it. I find that with very specific questions pertaining to specific situations, the cards tend to give almost literal answers, visible in the drawings. My idea here is that we 1) quote the question that we posed, 2) give context (detailed, preferably), and perhaps a hint, 3) show the card that we pulled 4) and then others guess what actually happened, based on the card. Let me start. Context: It is Thursday early afternoon. I am supposed to go away the next day, Friday, in the afternoon. I will also need to work on Friday (from home, I have a "laptop job", everyone works remotely) but only for 4 hours. I'm going to need to pack for my trip during working hours. I worry I might not get everything done quickly enough and will therefore leave too late. I ask tarot: how are my plans on getting everything done and leaving on time going to unfold? Hint: bear in mind that all of my team work remotely and we do sometimes need to communicate in ways other than email and it's not always planned way ahead of time... The card I pulled was Judgment. What do you think happened? Did my day go as planned or did something unexpected come up that slowed me down? 🙂 PS: Aplogies if I phrased something in a weird way, English is not my first language.

Did your boss call you up to say you were desperately needed to make a work presentation to a group of people on Friday? - hence completely upending your travel plans? I like this thread idea 👍. If there are lots of participants it will be interesting, and for me personally, is a nice way to get back into the swing of Tarot as I've not read at all over the last year. So... I haven't any stories of my own to add presently, but I shall start pulling cards daily to see if I can create some.

Almost 🙂 We had a zoom call that lasted an hours longer than planned, which did result in my leaving later than I'd planned. In the zoom call, there was my boss and then four of "us", and at one point the boss got angry and yelled! (I didn't care) Just like the angel (god?) in the drawing. She felt like we were asking her for too much. So it seems like she saw us resembling the people raising from graves in the drawing. I just love it so much how the tarot card depicted it 🙂 made me laugh. Do you have one like this, Tanga?

My question was "How did it make him feel when he received my message?". The card I pulled was 10 of coins. For context: the man is 50 years old and he was on a trip at that time. It's pretty crazy to what extent the card is exact in showing where he is and with whom and how he generally feels being on that trip. In addition, it also suggests how my message made him feel but that is secondary here. So: 1) Where was he? Meaning: what is his relationship with the place? 2) Who is he with? 3) Did my message evoke nice feelings in him or the contrary?

And your photo for your 2nd story hasn't come out. It displays as an empty box with a question mark in it.

I think based on the card he was in his original home town or in a place his ancestors lived. He was with his dog(s). And I think the message evoked nice feelings in him.
JoyousGirl Posted August 27 Posted August 27 (edited) Having a glass of wine or indulging in some food (definitely indulgence or luxury is an element, possibly a longstanding winery or olive oil region - old historical buildings or business - possibly medieval origins and trade centre). At a location that has to do with his lineage - possibly something to do with inheritance. Maybe Italy - if they're Italian Greyhounds or wherever they wore toga over the shoulder (somewhere once part of the Roman Empire?) Edited August 27 by JoyousGirl

Thanks for taking part in the game 🙂 Both of you are right in that he was in a place that had to do with his ancestors. He was in an old tourist town in the mountains, staying in an apartment that used to belong to someone in the family 2 generations back. The town isn't medieval, there are no stone walls there, but the whole apartment is decorated with antiques specific to that region. What was most astounding to me though is the other figures in the picture on the card, because he was there with his two adult daughters and his 9-year-old son! I mean, there's literally a boy in the picture, a young woman and another person that also looks like a young adult! As for the dogs, I'm not sure if there were any around at the moment when he received my message (I don't know what he was doing or where exactly he was at that moment, just in general on that trip) BUT I have two dogs!! AND he mentioned them in his reply to my message - he said that he'd be happy to see me and my dogs again. So my message definitely made him think about them. And yes, he also said it made him feel nice (it was kind of an apology). I mean, the level of exactness is insane to me 🙂

I did the same thing as with the Judgment card image from the very top of this post and there seemed to be no problems there. I'll make sure to upload images saved to my computer in the future to avoid complications 🙂
