Tapatalk... problem logging in...

IS anyone else having a problem logging into the forum via Tapatalk?  Or I'm just a speshul kind of idiot.  ::) Problems with both iPad and Android phone.

I’m also not able to get in on Tapatalk since the move. It just spins and sounds and doesn’t go anywhere for me.

Still can't get in.  The whole thing is SLOW, and when I finally get to the log in page and enter my info, it spins like it's loading...and then nada...

If anyone else is having a problem, I deleted TT&M, and searched for it again, and all worked fine after that.

oh this explains why sometimes recently I come to Tarot, Tea & Me on it and it won't load the different forum sections, it seems fine now on Tapatalk!

 

I'm having a little problem with replies though. I often get notifications of replies to a thread or my posts on my phone first and I read them. Later on I visit the forum on my laptop and go to "new replies to your posts" but they are not in that section, because I have read the new post, it's cleared. Is there a page of all replies (read as well). Both the forum and tapatalk are set up to add any thread I post in to my notifications but I am struggling outside of taptalk to find all the threads I need to reply to or have updated. I would also really love to turn off email from all notifications (so I just get a forum and tapatalk notification) but it looks online that Simple Machines doesn't do that. But it's pretty awesome apart from that <3

It's an app, you can get it on Apple and Android (and I think some other devices) on phones and tablets. It puts a forum really neatly for your device but it displays it quite differently. You can have new notifications appear on your phone and reply and message quickly on it. AT used to have it and quite a few forums do, so you can have many forums on it. It's just an easy way of using forums via mobile.

No, since this platform is mobile friendly there is no need for it 🙂

The references here @Polyhymnia are about our first forum software when we started which did have Tapatalk. As the forum was growing we got a better (paid for) software and like @Raggydoll says it has it's own mobile version. Just go to the website in your preferred browser on any device. It has a Desktop, Tablet and Mobile layout which resizes to your device 🙂

Yes, I have a browser tab open on my phone with this site on about 99% of the time 😆

You won't get notifications in your phone software notifications like Tapa but if you follow a thread on here, you will get reply updates on the globe at the top. You get red notification updates to what you follow and for any messages 🙂

Glad I found this thread. I just downloaded tapatalk and was wondering why I couldn't add this. Oh well. I just remain much more active on the app than without it.

This forum software has its own mobile version that works really well, and it isn't on Tapatalk anymore.  It's been some years since that was available, back when we had our old software. 🙂

If you visit the forum on Chrome on a mobile device you can add an icon straight to this site to your apps now by selecting install app whilst visiting us.

 

On all browsers (Android and iOS) you can get push notifications from here from your device  browser. Just go to this notifications page here on your device browser of choice and at the push settings near the bottom, enable it for that browser. I use the mobile notifications a lot personally.
